Embrace Your Personal Style
Your senior portraits are all about you. Bring outfits and accessories that reflect who you are. Whether that means bold colors, soft neutrals, vintage vibes, or streetwear-inspired looks. The best photos come from genuine expression and comfort, so wear what makes you feel confident!
Current Trends to Consider
-
Neutral tones & earth colors (beige, olive, rust, cream) for a warm, natural look.
-
Layering and textures like denim jackets, flannels, and soft knits for depth.
-
Casual chic: clean sneakers, statement boots, or classic loafers.
-
Minimalist accessories such as delicate chains and rings.
-
Natural, fresh grooming: think effortless hair styles and light makeup that enhance your features.
Classic Looks for a Timeless Feel
-
Crisp button-down shirts or simple blouses.
-
Solid color sweaters or cardigans.
-
Clean lines and tailored fits that flatter your shape.
-
Simple jewelry or none at all for a sleek, timeless portrait.
-
Monochrome outfits (all black, all white, or soft pastels) that keep focus on you.

Tux and Drape Photos - What You Need To Know
For seniors participating in tux or drape photos per their school requirement, Photographic Arts provides the clothing to keep things simple and uniform. Here’s how to prepare:
-
Arrive with clean, styled hair and a fresh face (do your makeup as you wish).
-
You don’t need to bring your own clothing for these shots, however if you are more comfortable bringing along your own fitted suit jacket, please do!
-
The tux or drape will be fitted on-site by our team to ensure it looks perfect.
-
Wear a solid-colored white shirt for tux photos or a thin (easily concealable) strap tank top for drape photos underneath if possible. This helps drapes tuxes pop in photos without distraction.
-
For a polished look, traditionally drapes are accompanied by a pearl or statement necklace.
-
These photos are classic and timeless, and great for honoring your achievement with a clean, professional style.
